English Rose Wine

With summer coming, it’s time to uncork the rose! But why not try something a little different from the same old Zinfandel you always get? Sadly, the majority of us don’t know what’s being produced on our own doorstep. England is producing some spectacular rose wines and with wine makers popping up across the south of the country, there’s a huge range to choose from!

Our English Rose Trio is ideal for garden and dinner parties and offers a great introduction to English roses. It features 3 bottles from across England, showcasing the variety of flavours that can be enjoyed. Discover new vineyards and winemakers from the comfort of your home - who knows, you might find your new favourite!

Lyme Bay Pinot Noir Rosé 2017

A serious Rosé made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. This wine is a single-vineyard designated bottling and its complex aromas of cherries, rosehip, strawberries and cream, and tight acidity and length, make it a great food wine.

Brightwell Vineyard - Oxford Rose

This rosé wine is produced solely from Dornfelder grapes. The juice has had brief contact with the red grape skins to give a vibrant colour and a gentle tannin strength to the wine. A refreshing drink by itself or with fish, salads, pasta and picnics. With an initial cherry flavour, Oxford Rose fades to a strawberry finish.

Giffords Hall - Rose 2017 - 11%

The delicate floral character of Giffords Hall's Madeleine Angevine and Pinot Noir wines, and the refreshing gooseberry and elderflower notes, are typical of wines grown in the East Anglia region.
